This is a picture done for Harper Collins' "Mangaka America" (similar to their "Japanese Comickers").  It's an illustration/how-to book scheduled to come out November 06.  It'll feature a lovely group of artists, showcasing their illustrations/comics and letting readers in on some of their favorite tools and techniques.  It's a picture I've had in my head for a while, so it felt really good to get it out!  This one took me a few days to complete, I chipped away at it here and there between writing Sorcerers & Secretaries chapters.  I wanted to draw something that you could sit and get lost in for a while, kind of like my favorite Mitsumasa Anno books! =)
